No Flag

It appears there is no municipal flag, as the Municipality uses a council and state logo flag but no municipal flag in their public sessions.

Coat of Arms

image from Facebook

The council informed me the municipal coat of arms was adopted in 1989 by José Elías Guzmán as part of his work under the administration of the Council. At the top of the bordure, SN PEDRO PIEDRA GORDA, the municipal seat. To the left side, a cob of corn for agriculture; to the right, leaves. At the bottom, grapevines and many purple and green grapes. The upper-left section depicts six stars, representing its communities; the big one is for the municipal seat. To the upper-right, Saint Peter's keys to Heaven connected together; Saint Peter is the patron saint of the municipality. To the lower-left, the National Eagle on a cactus eating a serpent for patriotism. To the lower-right, a puma for the fauna. Each section is divided by a diamond; in the center is a stylized cross for faith.
