Taita Taveta County is located in southern
Kenya on the border with
Tanzania with the capital at Mwatate. In 2007, the
former Taita Taveta District was spilt into two districts, the Taita
District and the Taveta District. Subsequently these have been
re-united to form the Taita Taverta County.
