About

The Japan Curling Association was founded in November of 1992 and received their "Public Interest Incorporated Association" status in 2011.

JCA Flag

Their flag is a logo on a white background, which can be seen at a photo from a 2013 tournament that took place in Tokoro, Hokkaido. The logo on this flag, which is no longer used in full on the JCA website, has the word mark (JCA and the curling stone handle over the C, so the C forms the stone) above a target. Above that graphic is the name of the organization in English and Japanese (the English text does not include the "Public Interest Incorporated Association" but the Japanese name has it). Japan is a member of the Pacific-Asia Curling Federation (PACF), which was formerly the Pacific Curling Federation.

Local associations

For the local associations, there is only two flags I could spot. The Hokkaido Curling Association, founded on February 8th, 1981, was one of the oldest curling associations founded in Japan. The logo is a curling target on a stylized map of Hokkaido. The name of the association, in English, wraps around the bottom. The flag is this logo on white. (Source) The Aomori Curling Club, founded in 1986, has a banner that can be seen here. The emblem information can be found here.
