Regional Council Ma'ale Yosef (named after Yosef Weitz, former
head of the Jewish National Fund) is
situated in Western Galilee around and between the two major
routes of the area (Nahariya-Zefat and Acre-Ami'ad),
east of Regional Council of Matte Asher. Est. 1963, pop 6500.
During my visit I spotted a municipal flag, green with a white
logo, charged with a 50th anniversary to the
settling in the concertation line inscription (see below). I guess
the usual flag is the one with the regular emblem. The municipal
emblem has not been published in the official gazette (Rashumot,
Yalkut ha-Pirsumim).

Ralph Phillips sent me a photo of the desk flag,
white with the emblem in natural colours (green tree and gold).

Ma'ale Yosef still uses the 50th anniversary logo in its publications. Just saw it today in the paper.
