Regional Council Golan covers all the area of the Golan Heights. It was founded in 1978 and got 9500 inh in 32 settlements. I was notified by the RC that the unofficial flag is white with emblem. However, in my visit I found out that it is on turquoise / light blue background with inscription above the emblem. The municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot), 'Publications Gazette' section (Yalkut ha'Pirsumim), YP 4843, 17 January 2000. Homepage at m.e.golan.org.il [retrieved].
