Description

Local Council Kefar Shemaryahu (meaning Shmariahu's village, after Shmariahu Levin, a Zionist leader) is situated just north of Herzliyya, on Hwy 2. Est. 1937, pop. 2,000.
The municipal emblem has not published in the official gazette (Rashumot, Yalkut ha-Pirsumim) and there were no flags on the city hall when I visited it. I was informed that in case of need they use a blue emblem on white, but this flag is as yet only probable.

In this visit there was a flag. White was correct but the emblem is green and not blue.

Local Council since 1950. This former colony that started as a agricultural settlements that was established in 1937 was turned in time to a luxury habitat and considered as one of the most luxurious communities in Israel.
It seems that it have no specific color of flag, and in photo at <www.kfar.org.il> we can see an orange variant with blue-white emblem.
The house that is seen at the upper part of the emblem is Bet Levin (Levin House), the city hall, which is seen at a photo at <www.kfar-shemaryahu.muni.il>.
