The coat of arms of Jakovlje is "Azure a tamburica argent in bend between three crowns or in chief and an apple or in the base."
A tamburica is a traditional folk instrument in the region. The traditional religious center of the municipality is in Kraljev Vrh, where is the chapel of the Three Holy Kings. The three crowns may therefore stand both for the three kings and for the three villages forming the municipality.
