The anime series Naruto is perhaps best described as "Harry Potter with ninjas instead of wizards." The world the series takes place in is divided into countries that take their names from natural attributes — the Land of Clouds, the Land of Fire, etc.
The plot of the movie Naruto: Dai Katsugeki! Yuki Hime Shinobu Houjou
Datte Bayo!! (literally, "The Snow Princess' Book of Ninja Arts", released in English under the
somewhat less flashy title Naruto: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow) involves the protagonists
being hired as bodyguards for a primadonna-ish actress, a simple training assignment which eventually
somehow turns into taking part in a full-scale coup attempt against the
Lord of the Land of Winter.

The third movie of the series, 2006's Naruto the Movie 3:
Guardians of the Crescent Moon Kingdom (literal subtitle, "Great
Excitement! The Animal Panic of Crescent Moon Island!") involves another coup attempt,
this one against the royal family of the Land of the Moon.

The flag and royal standard of the Land of Winter can be seen
at the end of the movie Naruto: The Snow Princess` Book of Ninja Arts.
The flag [left] is lilac-colored, vertical, and very tall, with the emblem of the Land of Winter
near the top. Eugene Ipavec, 8 March 2006 Royal standard

In the movie Naruto: The Snow Princess' Book of Ninja Arts, what I took to be the ensign of the
Land of Fire can be seen flying from the mast of a sailing ship — a saffron swallowtail bordered
in white. The identification was just a guess; it could just as easily have been a houseflag, say.

The Land of the Moon is a small casino-heavy island country in the tropics (south of
the portion of the series' world visible on this map shown at Wikipedia). Its flag is best visible about halfway into Naruto the Movie 3:
Guardians of the Crescent Moon Kingdom, when one is used as a shroud for the deceased king.
It bears a white crescent moon – in reference to its location on Crescent Moon
Island – in a turquoise fly triangle bordered in white, all on a field
of darker greenish-blue.
