Introduction

Interstellar is a 2014 science fiction epic film directed by Christopher Nolan. Starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Mackenzie Foy, John Lithgow and Michael Caine, the film features a team of astronauts who travel through a wormhole in search of a new home for humanity.

Lazarus missions

The agency has a project called "Lazarus missions", which are in charge precisely of finding inhabitable planets. It has its own flag, seen in the comic strip Absolute Zero below the US flag.
