Shield Argent, issuant from base a triplemount Vert, topped by a fir of the same, superimposed by an initial Sable "Z".
Meaning:
A deciduous tree superimposed by a "Z" is known from local seals since 1928. Although the Stuttgart Archives fixed the current pattern of the arms in 1940, the municipal seal displayed the deciduous tree until 1956. Attempts to adopt different arms remained unsuccessful.

Banner and arms were approved on 26 October 1967 by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg, published in GABl 400/1968. The approved banner however should be green-white. Mr. Georg Kunz from the local administration however confirmed that the municipality uses a black-white banner as given in sources above, at least for decades. The reason is not known.

Shield parted per pale; at dexter Azure an eradicated fir Or; at sinister Or, a demi-eagle Sable, couped per pale, armed and tongued Gules.
Meaning:
The eagle is alluding to the Imperial City of Rottweil, to which the village historically belonged. The fir probably is a local symbol.
