Description of coat of arms:
In a golden (= yellow) shield is a blue plough share, flanked by two green, rooted ears of grain.
Meaning:
The pattern appeared already in 1825 on seals and was afterwards simply forgotten. In the 1930ies the municipality used a different seal displaying a beech tree. The old symbols were rediscovered, the colours were fixed in 1967.
