Shield abased parted per fess, above Gules the western façade of a church Or with two towers, beneath Argent a well Azure masoned Sable.
Meaning:
The masoned well (German: Brunnen) is canting. The church is representing the cathedral of Herrenchiemsee, which had been demolished in 1818. Parts of the church afterwards were used for brewing and storing beer. The church is symbolising that the municipality belonged to the Augustine Convent of Herrenchiemsee until 1803. The convent had also been an important manorial lord in the village.
