Shield Azure an escarbuncle Or, superimposed by a pall reversed Argent, charged with a linden leaf Vert on chief point, a Greek cross Vert on heart point and hammer and mallet Sable on base point.
Meaning:
The charges were taken from the arms of former municipalities as follows: 1) the escarbuncle from Schiffweiler and Landsweiler-Reden, 2) hammer and mallet from Landsweiler-Reden and Heiligenwald, 3) the leaf from Stennweiler and 4) the cross from Heiligenwald. The pall reversed is another symbol referring to mining, here representing a pit.
