Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, a cross pommy Or, superimposed by an inescutcheon Argent charged with two bars Sable and surrounded by an impending frame Argent.
Meaning:
The arms are taken from a local court seal. Due to its circumscription it had been in use since 1713. The inescutcheon displays the arms of the Lords of Isenburg. They and the Lords of Breuberg acquired the village and the local court (Centgericht) in the 13th century. The Isenburg kin built castle and church between 1722 and 1727. The cross is probably reminding on a Premonstratensian Abbey, which had been secularised in 1543. The frame is a local sign.
