Back on 25 October 2007, Sergio “Xaruco” Arenas sent an e-mail to me, Francisco Grigoric, and Rob Raeside, reporting this flag based on scarce photographic evidence: This reconstruction shows a green flag with two thin blue horizontal stripes and the coat of arms overall, but it was either mistaken or pertaining a previous version of the flag, as the same author would shortly later publish a 3-stripe flag, in 2009 (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Bandera_La_Florida_Chile.png).

Colorful shamrock-in-seal logo

A logo in very wide use, apparently official, is circular with a 4-leaf clover at its center on white background and each leaf sagittally split in two coordinatedly colored halves — clockwise from the top: burgundy and fuchsia, green and chartreuse, orange and amber, and blue and cyan. All around a wide rim divided horizontally blue over green with white serifless capitals reading "La Florida" above and "municipalidad" below. The shade of blue is lighter than medium and somewhat tealish/dusky.

White field flag

This logo can be used on a white flag, as evidenced by this lapel pin showing it crossed with the national flag, sported by the communal chaplain (?) in several photos of this 2023 religious event.

Another flag with a variant of this logo was used in official capacity at least on 25 October 2023. It is a commemorative flag in pink background with the logo rim recolored as pink (a different shade) and underneath the communal motto "Contigo, siempre!" (meaning "With you, always!", spelled sic, without an "¡"), in casual handwritten style, the first word in teal, the second in yellow, and an underline swash in white (a total of 13 different colors in this flag, 4 of them being shades of pink!). I presume this is a commemorative design pertaining to breast cancer awareness, or to woman appreciation.

Green logo flag

At https://ghostarchive.org/archive/ORGBD a similar design with an all-green iconic shamrock, serifed letters, and yellow background. It’s a previous version of the logo, used i.a. in a 2014 official document. It is, however, still in use as the user icon of the communal television channel La Florida TV (https://ghostarchive.org/archive/uVZKQ and https://www.facebook.com/tvlaflorida/).

Green shamrock logo

A different logo shows bold serifless black lettering "La Florida," with letter "o" replaced with an iconic green shamrock and both letters "a" offset upwards, and underneath, offset to the right, the motto "somos más," in much smaller capitals. This is used on a white 2:3 flag, as in this March 2025 photo of an official event.

At https://logos.fandom.com/wiki/La_Florida, this logo is presented as being the new official logo, "2024–present," implying that the colorful shamrock was replaced by this one very recently. That may be so, and it would explain the graphic picked to be the user icon of the official communal Flickr account, containing a variation of this logo.

However, both logos seem to be in concurrent use — see this vest and ID badge and this booth backdrop, both with the old logo, but, on the same day, also this stage backdrop with the old one, not to mention both logos in this booth decoration. Maybe this is due to non immediate replacement of logo-bearing fittings, or maybe these two logos represent two separate entities.

This logo exists also in several color variants, representing separate sections of the same entity, as seen at https://www.fomentolf.cl/ (at the bottom of the page; no hash anchor because of course not). The color of the shamrock varies, as does the small-letter text:

Green - https://www.fomentolf.cl/assets/img/flo2.png - unchanged logo: central communal (municipal) government

Orange - https://www.fomentolf.cl/assets/img/flo1.png - sports department: "Cordep" (Corporación del Deporte)

Lavander - https://www.fomentolf.cl/assets/img/flo3.png - culture department: "cultura"

Blue - https://www.fomentolf.cl/assets/img/flo4.png - health and education (?): "Comudef" (Corp. Mun. de La Florida)

Amber - https://www.fomentolf.cl/assets/img/header.jpg - no idea: "Cofodep" (Corporación Municipal de Fomento al Desarrollo Comunal y Productivo de La Florida)

These variant logos may be used also on flags, but I didn’t see any.
