Gurgéia is a project that would be create a State through secession of the southern part of the State of Piauí.

The flag is a horizontal tricolor, green-white-blue. Near the hoist, three narrow yellow vertical stripes lie on the green and blue fields, and in the white field is the proposed emblem. The name GURGÉIA is inscribed in blue sans serif letters on the white field.
