The flag of the unincorporated community of Ireland, WV is a green field with
a white border. In the middle of the flag is a white outline of West Virginia,
along with a black dot representing the location of Ireland, WV. Three golden
curved lines connect the black dot to a white outline of the island of Ireland.
The golden lines seem to connect to the islands three largest cities (from top
to bottom), Belfast, Dublin, and Cork. The lines represent migration of Irish
immigrants to the land which Ireland, WV sits on. Ireland still practices Irish
traditions, and has an Irish spring festival every year to celebrate it.
