Description of the flag

The flag is a vertical tribar in the patriotic colors of red-white-blue. In the center is a horizontal black diamond with interlocking "MC" for the common nickname of "Mon City." According to old news clips, the flag was adopted in 1908 by municipal ordinance for the "Old Homeweek" celebration. It does appear that like in a lot of cases, the city has forgotten about the flag.
