Description of the flag

Brownstown Charter Township (usually just called 'Brownstown' outside the government) is a charter township in Wayne County, making it a suburb of Detroit. As of the 2020 census, the population was 33,194. The community is non-contiguous; it is divided into three separate pieces according to TIGERweb.

The seal

The seal has a shield in a circle. The shield is divided into four parts: 3 little squares on the top and the remainder. First square has a cog, second square a barn, third square a bird of some sort, possibly a seagull.
