Description of the flag

According to the following YouTube clips, the flag of Lake Worth Beach is a vertical tricolor of red, yellow, and white, with a black and red rendition of the city's official seal featuring a hibiscus flower. It was adopted by the City Commission on December 3rd, 1962

According to an article published by The Palm Beach Post on March 31st, 1976, the flag was designed by Camille O'Neill; a then 91-year-old former resident who designed and sewed original the flag in 1962, which is now hung at the entrance to Lake Worth city hall. She was a civic worker tasked with designing the city's seal, and successfully lead Lake Worth and Palm Beach County to officially adopt the hibiscus as their official flower. The city's government unfurled her original flag in 1976 for the purposes of making a "bicentennial version" to fly in Philadelphia.
