The Greens of Slovenia (Zeleni Slovenije or Zeleni) were founded on 11 June 1989 as the first ecologist party in Slovenia. They held seats in parliament between 1990-92 (8) and 1992-96 (5), but after that point the party's support decreased as its positions were co-opted by larger center-left parties. In the 2008 parliamentary elections it won 5,366 votes for 0.51% of the total and zero seats.
The party is still larger than the country's three other purely green-oriented parties (Green Party, Green Progress, and Party of Ecological Movements) though it is smaller than the more syncretistic Party of the Youth - European Greens.

The party's flag is green, with its emblem at the bottom
in white: the words "Zeleni Slovenije", on either one line or two, the
first word in a seriffed print and the second in a handwriting-type
font. The "i" in "Zeleni" is dotted with a dandelion puff, with a few
seeds drifting off rightward.

Table flags of the Greens of Slovenia - Image by Eugene Ipavec, 30 June 2010
The party's table flags include one very similar to the full-size flag, but with the emblem on only one line, and a (possibly newer) version with only the word "Zeleni", in green on white, and with the dandelion puffball less oval and more circular, the way it is shown in the party's website header.
