Shield Argent with base wavy of Azure and Argent, issuant from base a bridge Gules masoned Argent with three arches and an annexed embattled tower of the same at sinister, on dexter chief a lyre Azure surrounded by a wreath formed by an olive branch Vert fruited Sable at dexter and a vine wreath Vert fruited Purpure at sinister. Mural crown with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE DE GOUVIÃES E UCANHA".
Meaning:
Tower and bridge are representing Ucanha, lyre and wreath Gouviães.

Gouviães e Ucanha is one of the three communes of Tarouca Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 698 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 8,94 km².

Meaning:
The main charge is a representation of the so called "Tower of Ucanha", a watch tower protecting the masoned bridge, crossing the Varosa River, see e.g. here.
