Coat of Arms

Shield Azure with base wavy of Argent and Vert, a Caspian tern Argent armed Gules, a lily Argent with three blossoms of the same seeded Gules in fan. Mural crown with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with black inscription "SANTO ANTÓNIO - S. ROQUE DO PICO"
Meaning:
The Caspian tern (Latin: Hydroprogne caspia) is a local sea swallow. The base wavy with green waves is representing the Atlantic Ocean.

Santo António is one of the five communes of São Roque do Pico Municipality. It had 815 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 31,81 km².
