Shield Or with base wavy of Azure and Argent, five rye ears Vert tied Argent in fan, on chief a fleur-de-lis Azure garnished Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "VILA FERNANDO – GUARD".
Meaning:
The lily as a symbol of purity is an attribute of st. Mary, nbeing the local patron saint as Immaculate Conception.

Vila Fernando is one of the 35 communes of Guarda Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 396 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 16,27 km².
