Shield Vert, issuant from base wavy of Azure and Argent a mount Argent, charged with a 5-point star Azure, on chief a weaver´s shuttle Or in fess. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "MEIOS – GUARDA".
Meaning:
Mount and star are a representation of Serra de Estrela (= star mountains), a local ridge, the base wavy of the Mondego River. Meios is member of the connection of the so called "mountain villages" (Portuguese: aldeias de montanha), located between the above ridge and the protected area of the Serra da Gardunha. The shuttle is referring to local textiles industries.

Meios is one of the 35 communes of Guarda Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 150 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 4,83 km².
