Shield Argent with base wavy of Azure and Argent, a pine eradicated Vert flanked by two cogwheels Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE CEPÃES E FAREJA".
Meaning:
The base wavy is taken from the arms of former Fareja Commune, cogwheels and pine one from those of former Cepães Commune.

Cepães e Fareja is one of the eight communes of Fafe Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 2152 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 7,39 km².
