Cuijk is a merger of the former municipalities of Beers
(mostly - Beers and Linden), Cuijk en Sint
Agatha and Haps (1 Jan 1994). The rest of Beers
(Gassel) went to Grave. Cuijk has (1 Jan 2003)
24.331 inhabitants on 5554 hectares. Settlements: Cuijk (seat), Vianen,
Beers, Haps, St. Agatha, Katwijk, and Linden.

Cuijk Coat of Arms

The Coat of Arms is the same as the old Coat of Arms of the municipality of Cuijk en St.
Agatha, with a crown added. The arms were derived from the Coat of Arms of the Lords
of Cuijk.
