No Flag

It appears Bácum does not use a municipal flag, as I could not find one outside or within the municipal building.

It appears no documents regarding the municipal coat of arms were found in the municipal archives. However, it is known that the symbol was modernized in 2016, especially for use online. Description as given by the council:

Upper part, a deer head which signifies the survival of the Yaqui tribe. At the sides are the years: 1617 which was the arrival of the Jesuits and their evangelization 1895 which is when it was erected as a municipality during the Porfiriato. At the sides wreathed for victory. At the upper margin, a cactus of the desert and a fleck of cotton, agriculture. In the middle a cow head, cattle-raising and to the side an anchor and a shrimp. Fishing. Below an ear of wheat, in middle the church of Santa Rosa de Lima and a book, knowledge. To the side a cob of corn and sorghum. To the margin the Yaqui River.
Below the sides two rattles and a letter of the Jesuit fathers which founded in 1617 the population of Bácum. Upper part, a deer head which signifies the survival of the Yaqui tribe [sic]...The name Bácum signifies "lake" or "stagnant waters" in the Yaqui language.
