With the results of the recent National Assembly election in South Korea, I thought it might be good to explore some of the political party flags in that country. I'll start with the Minjoo Party that turned out to be the upset winners in the election.
The Minjoo Party of Korea (더불어민주당, Together Democratic Party) is a center-left political party in the Republic of Korea, founded in 2014 as a merger of two existing political parties: the Democratic Party and the majority of the membership of the New Political Vision Party. The Minjoo Party was originally known as the New Politics Alliance for Democracy (NPAD), and was renamed in December 2015.
While researching online, I found photographs showing three flags used by this party.

This is the flag under the party's original name as the New Politics Alliance for Democracy. The flag features a blue field with the party's name in white Hangul characters (새정치민주연합) with a white arch beneath the characters. This flag can be seen in photographs online here and here.

This flag is the one seen most often online using the Minjoo Party name. The flag follows the same basic pattern as the NPAD flag, with the party's name in white Hangul characters on a now dark blue field. This flag can also be found online, particularly here and here.

This flag appears to be a variant of the Minjoo Party flag seen at one of the party's press conferences. This flag features the party's short name (민주당) in blue Hangul characters on a yellow field. Photographs of this flag can be seen online here, here, and here.

Saenuri Party

The Saenuri Party (새누리당, New Frontier Party) is a center-right conservative party in the Republic of Korea. Founded in 1997 as the Grand National Party before being renamed in 2012, the Saenuri Party is the party of South Korea's sitting president, Park Geun-hye. The party was formed from a merger of the United Democratic Party and the New Korea Party, though it traces its lineage to the Democratic Republican Party formed in 1963 under the current president's father, President Park Chung-hee.
The flag of the Saenuri Party features the party's logo centered on a white field. The logo itself consists of a red arch-like symbol above dark blue Hangul characters spelling out the party's name. Photographs of the flag can be seen online here, here, and here.
