HRDS, the party of Croatian Roma population, was established in 2006 in Bistrinci in Belišče community (Osijek-Baranja County) where a considerable Roma population lives. According to HIDRA in 2007, it had some 160 members; the party is probably active in Belišče only.

The flag of HRDS, adopted in 2002, is prescribed in the party's statutes (text) as horizontally divided blue-green bicolour, charged with the party emblem. The emblem consists of a red wheel over which in the middle are set 25 red and white squares and overall the black letters "HRDS". The flag is obviously based on the Roma national flag as established in 1971 by the International Roma Congress
