Symbols of Pulianas

The Municipality of Pulianas in the Province of Granada, Andalucia, has its own symbols. The coat of arms was adopted by Ayuntamiento on 13.01.1987, and the flag was approved by the General Secretariat of Local Administration on 28.11.2025.

• Coat of arms:

Description: Shield divided per fess. First, argent, a tower gules. Second, azure, a bridge or, supported by waves argent and azure. Crest: a closed royal crown.
Meaning: The tower expresses heroic collective behavior. The bridge, for archaeological reasons. The water represents the economic past.

• Flag:

Description: "Rectangular cloth or flag in 2:3 proportions. Divided into three sections. First, crimson red, from the bottom corner of the hoist to the center of the top of the cloth. Second, a white stripe. Third, green, from the top corner of the fly to the center of the bottom of the cloth. In the center, superimposed the municipal coat of arms."
Meaning: Red and green are the colors of Granada, and white represents the Sierra Nevada.
