Asociación de Parques Científicos y Tecnológicos de España

APTE (website) was established in 1989, although between 1985 and 1992 eight technological parks promoted by the Autonomous Communities were created in Spain. It is a non-profit association whose main objective is to collaborate, through the promotion and dissemination of scientific and technological parks, the renewal and diversification of productive activity, technological progress and economic development.

The flag of APTE (photo) is white with the association's logo (image) in black, in the center, skewed towards the fly.

AEFRH (website) was established in February 2000 in Cartagena, during the National Meeting of Historical Festivals and Events. AEFRH groups associations, foundations, local administrations and other organisms that organize festivals, shows and re-enactions of historical characteristic and including a significant playful and cultural component.
Currently, AEFRH groups the organizers of 10 Ibero-Roman, 15 medieval, 4 Renaissance, 2 Baroque and 1 Napoleonic events.

The flag of AEFRH (photo, photo, photo, photo) is composed of eight right-angle triangles, in turn blue and yellow, with the association's emblem in the center.
The emblem features a map of Spain charged with the association's acronym and surrounded by a ribbon, left, in the Spanish colors, right, in the European colors. This emphasizes AEFRH as a Spanish national association affiliated to the Confédération Européenne des Fêtes et Manifestations Historiques.

Spain's Most Beautiful Towns Association (website) was established on the model of France's Most Beautiful Villages, which had been founded in 1982. Similar associations were subsequently established in Wallonia (1994), Italy (2001), Japan (2005), Romania (2010) and Saxony (2011).
The association's charter defines the eligibility criteria for membership:
- population shall be below 15,000; for towns counting more than 5,000 inhabitants, only an historical center cane be eligible);
- towns shall feature a certified architectural or natural heritage.
Applications for membership have to be submitted by the Municipal or Village Council.
Additional criteria, such as cleanness, facade conservation, traffic system, flowered and green areas, advertisement regulation... are assessed by a specific commission.
