It was a 6-stripes flag with alternating horizontal white and black stripes. There was a white canton, fimbriated black, divided by a black saltire.

Established: 27 March 1902
It was a white flag divided by two black horizontal stripes. Between the stripes was a black inscription "RV" above "P" in the upper hoist and a black eagle with white inescutcheon in the centre. Black and white had been the colours of Prussia.
