In 1817, the factory was renamed the Arsenal de Artillería (English: Artillery Arsenal).

In 1822, the factory was renamed the Fábrica de Armas de la Nación (English: Nation Weapons Factory).

In 1923, the factory was renamed the Fábricas y Maestranzas del Ejército (English: Army Factories and Workshops).

In 1924, through "Ley № 4.043" (English: Law Number 4,043), it became an autonomous organization.

In 1930, the factory was renamed the "Fábricas y Maestranzas del Ejército de Chile" (English: Factories and Workshops of the Chilean Army).

In 1953, the factory adopted its current denomination "Fábricas y Maestranzas del Ejército de Chile" 'FAMAE.'

The shade of blue appears to be slightly darker than the one Zoltan provided us in 2014, and the inscription is different by a single word. It's currently unclear if there has been a change in the official flag design, or if this one is simply a variant.
