SEV (Gewerkschaft des Verkehrspersonals / Syndicat du personnel des
transports / Sindacato del personale dei trasporti = Union of transport
personnel) is a Swiss trade union for employees in public transport. The
abbreviation SEV is derived from the original German version of the name (Schweizerischer
Eisenbahn- und Verkehrspersonal-Verband = Swiss union of railway and transport
personnel). The SEV has about 43,000 members and is part of the SGB/USS
federation of trade unions.
The logo consists of the abbreviation "sev":
a black "s" on white, a white "e" on red, a black "v" on white.
