I have seen the flag in several New Brunswick towns. I was wondering if it's used elsewhere in the country.

Quoting from the Royal Canadian Legion website:

The crown is the St. Edward Crown, used by the Sovereign. The red maple leaf on the white background is derived from the Canadian coat of arms. Our pledge and motto Memoriaum Eorum Retinebimus (We Will Remember Them), is in the outside circle. It is in Latin, a language generally used on badges, crests and banners of national and military emblems. The word "Legion", in gold, and the background in blue represents the official colours of the Legion. The Poppy is the symbol of remembrance. This badge has been approved by the Sovereign.

Apart from this flag (referred by them as "legion flag"), there a "legion banner" which is a 1:2 plain blue flag with the legion badge in the middle.

The lady's auxiliaries/auxiliaire féminins use a similarly designed flag then the legion banner except that the background is pinkish and the badge in the middle has a maple leaf with silver veins and a serif "A" superimposed on it.

Vietnam Veterans in Canada

The logo of this organization, consisting both of Canadians worldwide who fought in Vietnam and US Vietnam veterans who have settled in Canada, has a Commonwealth-style logo to be found on the Web Site

Greg Koll comment: "Seattle Branch No. 32 of the Canadian Legion of the British Empire Service League (now the Royal Canadian Legion) was an overseas chapter established in Washington State, USA, to support Canadian WWI and WWII veterans living in the Pacific Northwest. Seattle Branch 32 was established in the mid-1920s, with historical city council records referencing its operations by May 1935. The specific overseas branch became defunct sometime after the Korean War."
