"ARTICLE XVI - UNIFORMS AND INSIGNIA
Section 1.
The official Club
Burgee shall be as follows: Red letters (FYC) on a white field through the
center with a blue triangle strip at top and bottom.
The rest of the
article defines the official cap and the devices worn on it. For the officers,
specific devices are worn on the cap, but no mention is made of officers flags."
The Southern Yacht Club show they have in their burgee collection a burgee
of the Fairhope Yacht Club where the red letters, fimbriated white, are over
all, rather than on the white only.
