Description of the flag

The township clerk sent me a digital drawing of the flag after confirming me they had one.

The flag is a vertical gradient field of light blue to dark blue. In the center of the field is the depiction of a river, presumably the Shenango River flowing from the mountains. On either side of the mountains is a single thistle plant. above the mountains is the township name in purple, with the county and state name under it. Under the river is the township's establishment year.
