Here's my drawing for the flag of Apex, North Carolina. It is green with a golden border. In the center is the seal in yellow. Towards the bottom reads "The Peak of Good Living" (because the town is called Apex) also in yellow. Also attached is the seal.

Apex Police Department

[Flag of Apex Police Department] image by Randy Young, 13 August 2016

Apex is a town in Wake County in central North Carolina founded in 1873.

The flag of the Apex Police Department can be seen in photographs online, particularly here. The flag consists of the Department's shoulder patch centered on a blue-grey field. The patch is in the shape of a black shield, with a gold eagle perched atop a ring of rope encircling a white house silhouette on blue and the year 1873, also in white. Crossed American and North Carolina flags protrude from the circle. The words "POLICE" and "APEX" arch across the top half of the shield in white capital letters, with the letters "N.C." in white in the bottom.
