Sheridan is located in Hamilton County, Indiana and as of 2025 has a population of about 5,000 to 6,000 (this is an estimate) ever since they annexed the entirety of Adams Township on New Year's Day. Sheridan is 48.36 square miles big.
I visited the Sheridan Historical Society this afternoon and I finally got the flag of Sheridan, Indiana! The flag was created in the early 1990s by Susan Hammack as part of a contest for elementary school children; her flag won first place and was presumably selected to be the official flag of Sheridan for some time. It fell out of governmental use eventually — exact year unknown — as Sheridan Town Hall reported that they no longer use any flag, nevermind that one specifically. The town hall never actually confirmed having used the flag at any point, so for all we know it may have just been a civic flag.
If I had to describe the dimensions, the flag has roughly the same aspect ratio as the U.S. State of Wyoming: square-ish but not perfectly square. It's red and contains a white silhouette of Indiana outlined in black, three objects inside said silhouette, an annotation, and the words 'Sheridan' and 'Indiana' in black cursive outlined white on either side of the silhouette tilted upwards and downwards respectively at a 45 degree angle.
