The 8th graders at FRG Middle School were assigned a project earlier in the
year: to create a flag they felt best represented Fox River Grove. Little did
the students know, one of the designs would be selected as the honorary Fox
River Grove Centennial flag! With the help of FRGMS teacher, Mr. Benrus, and the
Centennial Committee, the designs have been narrowed down to the top 3.

And the winner: Village President, Bob Nunamaker, announced the winner,
FRGMS 8th grader, Dominic Cimilluca, at the 8th Grade Awards Breakfast. The flag
now flies at Village Hall.

The flag bears a blue saltire with white quarters above and below, and green quarters to fly and hoist; in the center a brown shield bearing an orange fox's head.
