As seen in
this article is the flag of Jerome. It is green with the seal in gold. If
the colors do have meaning, then I assume the green evokes the Verde Valley and
gold color the ores found in Jerome. Jerome's seal depicts the sun over the
mountains of the Verde Valley, and a piece of mining infrastructure since of
course, Jerome was known in the state for its mining industry. Jerome today
survives as a tourist spot, and is usually called a "ghost town".
