Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, an eradicated olive tree Vert fruited Sable, issuant from a base wavy of Argent and Azure a mount Sable charged with a palaeontological painting of a stag Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "FRATEL".

Fratel Commune is one of the four communes of Vila Velha de Ródão Municipality; it had 608 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 97.9 km².
