Shield Azure, two eradicated pines Argent ordered per fess, in chief a Marian crown Argent, base Or semy of seaweed branches Vert. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "ESTELA".
Meaning:
The crown is alluding to St. Mary, the local patron saint. Pines are the predominant species of trees in the commune. The base is representing the Masseira Fields.

Estela Commune is one of the seven communes of Póvoa do Varzim Municipality; it had 2316 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 11.5 km².
