Shield Argent, two grapevines Purpure leaved Vert ordered per fess, in chief a pair of keys Azure crossed per saltire and tied Gules, in base a wheat ear Vert. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "PALHAÇA".
Meaning:
The keys are an attribute of St. Peter.
