Shield Or a mount Vert charged with a barrulet wavy Azure fimbriated Argent, on its top a boulder Sable, on chief two distaffs Sable garnished Argent with yarns Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard-Guedes style, reading in black upper case serifed letters "AVESSADAS E ROSÉM".
Meaning:
The distaffs are representing the former Rosém Commune, all other charges the former Avessadas Commune.

Avessadas e Rosém is one of the ten communes of Marco de Canavezes Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 1374 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 11,14 km².

Shield Argent, in chief a bull's head caboshed Gules, garnished Or and armed Sable, between to flax flowers Proper (= stemmed and leaved Vert, blossomed Azure, seeded Or), issuant from base a mount Vert, crowned by a rock Sable and charged with a bar wavy Argent, charged with a barrulet Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "AVESSADAS".

Avessadas was one of the 25 communes of Marco de Canavezes Municipality affected by the 2013 changes. It had 1247 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 6,1 km².
