It is a slightly atypical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain yellow field. This flag is in official local use but apparently never published in the official journal.

Shield Argent, a church Sable roofed Gules and with port and windows and Or, in chief a crescent Vert pointing to the chief, on base wavy Azure a barrulet wavy Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "LOMAR - BRAGA". These arms were locally seen as official up to 2013.

Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "LOMAR - BRAGA. These arms were apparently never taken up by the communal administration.

Meaning:
The name of this village comes from local river Arcos - the arms are therefore partly canting.
