Shield Sable parted by a cross Argent, over all a chaplet of oak branches Vert fruited Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers(village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "SANTA CRUZ - ARMAMAR".
Meaning:
The word "cruz" means "cross" and these are therefore canting arms. Furthermore the nme is referring to the "Holy Cross" (Portuguese: Santa Cruz) and thus also to its Catholic patronage.

Santa Cruz, this commune was named, less ambiguously, Santa Cruz de Lumiares until 1995. It is one of the ten communes of Armamar Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 173 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 7,88 km².
