The municipality of Bodegraven-Reeuwijk was created in 2011 by merging the
two municipalities of Bodegraven and Reeuwijk. The new municipality decided to
keep in use the flag of the former municipality of Bodegraven.

From https://www.mastenenvlaggen.nl/product/dorpsvlag-sluipwijk:
The flag of Sluipwijk is is not known exactly when it has been in use. At least before the year 2018. It is known that the flag design is directly traceable to the associated village coat of arms, which dates from 1819.
The Sluipwijk flag is blue and shows a white owl in the center with the village name underneath in elegant white letters. The owl has spread wings and the origins of this image are complicated. For example, the bird already appears in 1628 in the coat of arms of Hillebrandt den Otter, the then lord of Sluipwijk. Ultimately, the owl comes from the coat of arms of the manor of Vrijenes, where Hillebrandt was also the owner for a while. Before that, the owl represented an angel which returned to the even older coat of arms of the Van Someren family. This family also owned the manor of Vrijenes for a while. A seigneury is an earlier form of government in which so-called lords were in charge.

The manufacturer at https://www.mastenenvlaggen.nl/product/dorpsvlag-waarder has developed a concept flag for Waarder, based on the village coat of arms, which date from 1816. This coat of arms was used at the time as the municipal coat of arms for the former municipality of Waarder. This municipality was abolished since 1989 and now falls under the municipality of Bodegraven-Reeuwijk.
The proposed flag is white and features three drakes, each swimming in a blue puddle. The drakes together form expressive elements referring to the village name.
