The old name was Augsbuur (Frisian: Augsbûr) or Lutkewoude (Frisian: Lytsewâld). In the 1990s the name was changed to Augsbuurt (Frisian: Lytsewâld)
Three horizontal stripes yellow - red - green, with 5 pinnacles on red
stripe.
Colors: princes-yellow, clear-red, and clear-green.
The pinnacles refer to a "stins" (castle) of the family De Clant in
the 16th century; later the families of Roorda, Van Scheltema, and Van
Aylva lived there.
